About

Hey there!

My name is Anjana Balakrishnan and I am figuring out if quitting one’s job (and salary) to write is a smart thing to do. There are short stories floating around in my head. There is the seed of a novel in my dreams. All that needs to be done now is to write!

If you like what you read here, leave a comment to let me know and tell a friend to follow me! You can get in touch with me at fictionhead@gmail.com.

I am most fun on instagram: anjananju

Hey there!

This is Anjana Balakrishnan.

When you read on, you will figure that up until today I wasn’t comfortable with my name being associated with my writing. Things change from today. I am embracing all that is me, including my poetry.

Excels have been made, plans have been laid and a timeline has been arrived at. All I need to do now is PERSEVERE!

To that!

If you like what you read, tell a friend. If you don’t, well, you don’t;  what can I say!

Either way, rate me so that I know where I stand. Thanks!

There is nothing exciting to say about me.

I write → As you must have read.
I am jobless → Hence the blog.
I don’t like being associated with what I write → Hence the anonymity.
I don’t take responsibility for what I write → So should you.
It’s just things I think up → Hence the randomness.
Don’t take it too seriously. → Nothing is worth it.

That’s how exciting it gets.

    1. What! Really? I always thought you considered me to be an intellectual or some such.:P also because you know the kinds of editing styles I know 🙂

You jobless thing, you have to read everything I write and there are no excuses! Follow me!

  2. Hey great introduction. I myself have trouble associating with what I write so tried with to go with a pen name( freedom in being anonymous) for a while but then forced myself to switch to my own name so that I standby my thoughts. Easier said than done!
BTW I know who you are 🙂 I came across a question posted by you at Linkedin.
